My Services
I offer a variety of services that include assessment and treatment options. Depending upon your personal goals and preferences we can work together to find a level of support and care that is appropriate for you.
Individual Sessions
Clients receive personalized care and support in addressing a variety of mental health and psychological needs. Sessions are typically 45 to 50 minutes in length. The first session includes my learning about you so I may create an individualized plan. Over time we will review progress and adjusted as needed.
Family Sessions
Sometimes families benefit from working together to strengthen the health of one or multiple members. During the first couple session I will learn about each member and the concern to develop a treatment plan that is adjusted as growth occurs. Sessions typically last in 60 to 75 minutes in length.
Couples Counseling
This option is for individuals who are dating and/or married. Sessions may address anything from premarital counseling, growing through facing difficulties together, dating, and/or deciding to separate or divorce. The first session includes learning about a couple’s needs and preferences so a treatment plan may be developed. Sessions last 50 to 60 minutes in length.
Group Sessions
Sometimes a variety of people with similar experiences benefit from participating in groups with fellow travelers. Recovering and receiving support along with others enhances the growing experience by helping clients through connection with others. Length of session varies depending upon numbers of members and issue being explored.
Psychological Assessment
Sometimes a formal psychological evaluation that includes an interview and objective assessments to be used to evaluate an individual’s readiness for a variety of opportunities. Psychological assessments can be ordered by the criminal justice system, requested to help determine suitability of child rearing, and a variety of other opportunities. After the interview and assessments have been completed it takes one to two weeks for the report to be completed.
A healthy life awaits you.

Blog: Turning Down the Volume of Emotions
Learning how to place emotions in their proper place is one thing therapy can help with. Emotions are important as they give us information about how we are interacting with our environment making it important to not turn them off. I have heard it said that emotions make awful masters but great servants. Cognitive Behavior …
Forgiveness is Grieving
Experience has shown me how forgiveness follows a similar process as grief. When we think about it is not the need to forgive activated through the loss of something whether it be a dream, safety, trust in another human being, or a belief about how the world works. The grief process as outlined by Elisabeth …
