“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more you are a leader.” John Quincy Adams
Living our life in such a way that others look at us and are warmed or get hope is an amazing thing. I get hope from so many people who have no idea of this. They do so with small things. For example: the person who helped me get my counseling license takes me out to lunch often and helps me keep focused on professional goals. He does this by reminding me of my responsibilities and sharing his process with me.
Leading is not about telling someone what to do or about being the boss. It is about sharing yourself. Honest and open living cultivates hope not just for you but for others. Naturally being you no matter the situation is what your community needs. Engaging in heart-to-heart dialogue encourages others to do their best while in your presence.
